## About the role
As a Maintenance Technician Allround, you keep equipment, facilities, and production assets running safely and reliably. This role matters because your work directly reduces downtime, supports output, and helps the site operate at a high standard.
Based in Amsterdam, you will take ownership of day-to-day maintenance work in a hands-on senior position. You will diagnose issues, carry out repairs, and help improve preventive maintenance so problems are fixed quickly and prevented where possible.

## Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and building systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and technical faults to restore operations quickly
- Diagnose root causes of recurring issues and implement practical fixes
- Support planned shutdowns, installations, and equipment upgrades
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and safety documentation
- Collaborate with operations and external technicians to minimize downtime
## Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in maintenance, service engineering, or a similar allround technical role
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and maintenance documentation
- Knowledge of safe working practices and maintenance procedures
- Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of repairs
- Good communication skills in English
## Nice to have
- Experience in a production, industrial, or facility environment
- Knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, or HVAC systems
- Dutch language skills
- Experience with preventive maintenance systems or CMMS software
- Relevant technical certification or vocational training
