As a SolidWorks tekenaar, you translate technical concepts into accurate 3D models and production-ready drawings. Your work helps engineering, manufacturing, and project teams build, assemble, and deliver with fewer errors and faster turnaround.
You work closely with colleagues to refine designs, update documentation, and ensure drawings meet required standards. This role suits someone who enjoys precision, structure, and turning technical input into clear, usable output.

## Responsibilities
- Create and maintain 2D drawings and 3D models in SolidWorks
- Convert technical specifications and sketches into accurate design documentation
- Update drawings, revisions, and bills of materials as projects change
- Check dimensions, tolerances, and technical consistency before release
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturability
- Support the preparation of documentation for internal and external stakeholders
## Requirements
- Proven experience as a technical drafter, CAD tekenaar, or similar role
- Strong working knowledge of SolidWorks
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Experience with 2D/3D CAD design and revision control
- Good communication skills in Dutch and/or English
- MBO or HBO level working and thinking ability
## Nice to have
- Experience in mechanical engineering or machine building
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and tolerances
- Experience with PDM or other product data management systems
- Familiarity with BOMs and technical documentation workflows
